今日看《琅琊榜》第14集,听到了一句很有意思的话,原来还有成语。#成语有的就是正常的

one fine day, the principal of gotham high school frowned while looking at an exam script and asked the teacher, “how did this student end up in his final year in school, and yet failed his greek?”
“oh, but u are the one who promoted bruce at each level over the years?”
it is not well-known that batman studied greek in school, a compulsory subject in gotham city, but failed each year till his graduation year in gotham high school.
it’s been a while since we revisited (the conception) of borg queen. as a novice, the first time i encountered the borg queen is in the classic movie – First Contact – which i have watched countless times.
oh yes, just to add another (my) #qotd that comes to mind:
“If it appears in shows, TV, movie, internet, or otherwise, it happens in the real world (with 99% confidence interval).”

today is the last CCA day for my YI Band students (and teachers as well) as we are graduating the last batch of students from bukit batok campus. “said a few words” to the students, and this is what i shared with them:
Music enables us to forge friendship lifelong.

received this set of notes from the students, and am glad to have forged lifelong friendship with them too (students now, but friends in 8 mths’ time).
this is my first ever ‘object lesson’, and it’s about the lessons LEGO (bricks) can bring to argumentative writing (论说文 aka 议论文).
things needed for the lesson:
1. 5x LEGO bricks per student; any colour except RED; ideally of different size and/or length
2. 2x RED bricks per student
3. recently completed student essays
4. a model essay (can be a student’s work)
students are given 2 minutes to freely create a 5-brick structure using the given LEGO bricks.
