was watching an episode of NIE Education Launchpad (thanks rab for introducing this newly launched site to me), and this was what Dr. Anitha Devi Pillai said in chapter 3:


“Every single writer I know, has this mantra. It’s mine too. Write and revise. Write and revise. Revision is such an important part of writing. You never get it right in the first draft you know. 早来的教师节“礼物”

上周四年中会考成绩放榜后,过去一周“忙”的就是学生重不重考的事宜。
刚和一对父母(都是波兰人)聊了女儿重考与否的问题。
天下父母心,身为父母,完全能够理解做父母对孩子未来所做的全盘思考。
尽管成绩不理想,最后决定——不重考。
通话快结束时,正向父母表达歉意。这时学生的妈妈说道:

“女儿告诉我们,她学了九年的华文。今年是第一次不怕上华文课。”

教师节虽是下周,这可以算是早来的教师节礼物吧?
