Music and Life

seen this shared by dear friend tuck soon via fb, watch it first/too? (:

if one appreciates this video, it probably means one is no longer young. if one doesn’t appreciate this video, it means one is either (1) young in terms of biological age (2) not young in terms of biological age and in a state of self-denial. this animation reminds us that life’s not just abt waking up in the morning, go to work, work … work … work …, time’s up leave work go home, sleep, morning go to work again … and the cycle repeats itself and on and on …

if one lives to work, probably you should go back to this story (:

  1. This is a great video … and the message is spot-on! I know that story well that you reference. It seems that there are variants on it since the original.

Been trying to teach my teenage son that there are more important things in life than video games, but the message just won’t sink in. They say that you cannot put an old head on young shoulders.

  2. mark: it’s ok, we each have our own ‘indulgence(s)’ during young and i believe our parents have also tried to make us give up on those. and we all outgrown it. personally i was a games addict much like your son, it’s all part of growing up i suppose? (:
