A blog, also known as weblog, is an internet online diary. This open platform has recently caught the attention of educators worldwide, and its use in education is currently being actively explored. Blogs employed for use in education are also called the edublogs. Edublog can bring about collaboratively and cooperative learning. It is most useful when used as a reflection tool. When employed in the teaching learning of languages, it encourages students in authentic writing for a purpose as well as for an audience. Though in-depth researches on the educational values for edublogs have yet to turn out results, its usefulness and application in teaching and learning of any subjects can already be seen.
