real life example for (ed)voicethread
exactly 3 months ago i posted about voicethread and about 22hrs ago a comment left by a fellow singaporean CL teacher came as a pleasant surprise. he's 德顺（his students would call him 关老师）from rulang pri sch, and he has got some real voicethreads going live! check out his reflections on his experiment with his students, and be sure to drop by his collection of voicethreads too!

You have a really nice blog here. Mine is just too boring comparitively. Anyway, I like the link to the voice threads. I live and teach English in China and am trying to learn Chinese and his recordings are good practice. Besides, I like his idea of comparing learning to different activities (I hope that was what he was talking about).. I used a similar method in my English class for a first or second class session. I asked students to tell me what learning English was like to them. It's a great discussion topic and helps them think about the experience of learning from another perspective.

Hi Maggie! It's great to hear from you again. How's life in Beijing? Oh btw I'm out of town this few days and guess what, I'm in Beijing too, staying near China Agricultural Univ ;) Will be returning to Shanghai tomorrow though.
Yup, really love to try out VoiceThreads (VTs) with students if there's a chance. If your students happened to be those who are connected online more than the 'offline' world, you could engage them in some online exercises through VTs. Either voiced or written exercises would be great way to practice English.
